About Fireflies

Fireflies will soon have a number of pieces posted. These will include portrait and other photographs from Romania and Rajasthan. Work in progress notes will include ideas for how to best organize and publish the work I am doing with Japanese-Americans on Oyster Bay. This collaborative work includes recording histories and personal narratives, collecting historical and current images, and collecting stories from the Tule Lake incarceration period. This piece may end up being modeled on the “interactive village” Terence Wright discusses in Visual Impact: Culture and the Meaning of Images.
